The Uncharted Lands are a region to the south of the Desert of Zin, barred off by an unnamed mountain range.[1] On maps, it is usually represented by a fading line, suggesting a cloud or shadow that obscures the landscape.[2] As the name suggests, the Uncharted Lands have not been mapped, for a legitimate but unknown reason.[3]
The Vulpin and the Felis have both tried to map it, the former more so than the latter due to proximity, but every expedition has failed for various reasons. So many have tried and failed, all races except the Felis have accepted that those lands will remain uncharted.[4] The Felis in particular are frustrated by the failure to map the Uncharted Lands.[5]
